Mr. and Mrs. Daniel E. Barton

Yesterday was the wedding day of our youngest daughter, Stephanie. The wedding was held in the beautiful Red Butte Garden--sunny and hot, but a very nice ceremony performed by Danny's bishop. The reception was held in her Kirkham grandparents' cherry orchard, a beautiful setting--although it was very windy during part of the reception. So many of her family and friends worked so hard to get things ready. Other than grabbing the wrong veil for the ceremony (it happens when you have lots of daughters that store their wedding apparel at your home), a mishap with the cake (which was repaired to an almost perfect state), and way too much wind, it was a wonderful day for everyone. The newlyweds are off to Fiji for their honeymoon and we hope it the beginning of their "happily ever after".

Bonnie's Big Day

Today is Bonnie Faye's 6th birthday. She is our oldest granddaughter and how we love her bright eyes and big smile. We got to celebrate with her by going out for pizza tonight. She was so excited about everything--made it lots of fun for us. Happy birthday Bonnie!
