About a week and a half ago Jim had double hernia surgery, from which he is recovering nicely. We have before and after pictures, but we thought that they range in the TMI area. He goes back to work on Monday.
We are also going to refinance our house and wanted to have it nice and clean before the appraiser came. Well one thing led to another--the steamroller effect, you know--and we ended up purging the house of 21 years of accumulated stuff in a week's time. I do not recommend doing this in such a short amount of time and I promise not to wait for another 21 years before doing it again. 
Today is the 1st birthday of our youngest grandchild, Emily Lanae. What a sweetheart! Her parents held a little party for her this evening and she was so cute about all of her gifts. Happy birthday dear little girl!

I hope uncle jim is doing ok. I had no idea.
i HATE having the home appraised, but i have some great advice for the de-junking factor....move every year and a half.;) --- ok, that's some really bad advice.
