Good Times

I love holidays because they usually mean a break from the typical daily routine and also provide an opportunity for families to get together. This Labor Day the stormy weather broke just in time for us to enjoy a barbecue on my parents' deck with family and friends. The food was great, but the company was better. It's so nice to have my brother, Dave, his wife, Judy, and their family living back in this area. We've had the chance to become better acquainted with their older children as they have come to Utah for work or school, but now we finally have the opportunity to get to know the younger ones and reconnect with Dave and Judy. We missed my sisters and their families, Melissa's children, and several of Dave's family members who weren't able to join us, but still a good time was had by all.

No, that aura around my little family isn't an accident. We glow - we can't help it. Ha, Ha:)
